He is a registered Nutrition Practitioner of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) specializing in genomic medicine and personalised nutrition with experience of working in paediatrics and women’s clinical settings across the United Kingdom.
He succeeded in the expert practice assessment of clinical Doctorate at the University of Stirling (UK).
He is now leading digital health and nutrition research projects at the University of Stirling.
His work focuses on interpretation in the relationships among genes, diet, and health outcomes.
He is author/co-author of peer-reviewed articles and books in the field. His most recent book is “Complications of Pregnancy", with Professor Hassan.
He is a professional member of the British Society for Genetic Medicine (BSGM) & the UK’s Association of Genetic Nurses and Counsellors (AGNC).
He also serves under the Professional Society of Genetic Counsellors in Asia (PSGCA).
During consultations, he helps patients understand the process and results of their genetic tests, as well as provides a clinically personalised recommendation on a nutrition and well-being plan.
He is a recognised expert in the fields of eating disorders, genetic disorders, child nutrition and growth, pregnancy nutrition, fertility support, prenatal testing counselling, weight loss, and genome-based nutrition plan.
