I have a BSc in Herbal Medicine from the University of Westminster in London, a Diploma in Nutritional Therapy from the Irish Institute of Nutrition and Health, Ireland and an MSc in Ethnobotany from the University of Kent in conjunction with The Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
For my MSc, I conducted my research on dietary changes and gastrointestinal symptoms amongst Ladakhis in Northern India as I have particular research and clinical interest in the gastrointestinal system and its affect on overall health and wellbeing.
For five years I was in clinical practice with a team of GPs and some of the most renowned psychiatrists and psychologists in Ireland, who had a more alternative approach to working with mental health issues.
Since returning to the UK, I have worked in a GP practice in Fulham and more recently also Duke Street Practice in Marylebone, central London.
I also provide Nutritional Therapy consultancy in the
Fulham branch of The Haven, The Breast Cancer Charity and also the Wellington Diagnostics and Outpatients Centre in Brent Cross.
I am a member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists, The Nutritional Therapy Council and
The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.
