Nathalie has a BSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of West London and a BSc (Hon) in Psychology.

She is a BANT Registered Nutritionist working in the community and a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner CNHC, working on a consultation basis.

Nathalie adopts a functional approach in practice, drawing on evidence-based research to provide dietary advice.

Functional medicine emphasises a definable and teachable process of integrating multiple knowledge bases within a pragmatic intellectual matrix that focuses on functionality at many levels, rather than a single treatment for a single diagnosis. Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improving both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function.

The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive 5-day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™.  Nathalie attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2017.  She has also been accepted onto the IFM Certification program. She completed the Gastrointestinal APM in 2019.

Nathalie has also completed Genesnippers 2018, which take a functional medicine approach to Nutrigenomics and passed the assessment.  She is confident reporting on genetic data for clients within a functional framework.

Nathalie works on a consultant basis with clients as a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner CNHC, with an interest in nutrigenomics, fatigue and children’s health.  As a BANT Registered Nutritionist, she is regularly invited to speak in spas, schools and corporate settings; running workshops and cooking demonstrations.  She has a passion for the practical elements, running cooking demonstrations/classes for both adults and children.  Nathalie also has experience in developing recipes, menus and diet plans. She contributes to magazines, newsletters and most recently her own food blog Nutritiously Natty on Instagram.
